Mechanical Equipment Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Specialist to join our team in East Anglia. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our customers, ensuring that their heavy plant equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a formal engineering qualification in plant maintenance, agricultural or HGV mechanics, or a related discipline, with relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy construction plant. They will also possess advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to communicate efficiently with colleagues, management, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair heavy construction plant, including Dynapac and Volvo road construction equipment.
  • Identify mechanical problems using technical knowledge and computerized diagnostic equipment.
  • Carry out duties in a commercially focused way, seeking additional service revenue opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A formal engineering qualification in plant maintenance, agricultural or HGV mechanics, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy construction plant.
  • Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with colleagues, management, and customers.

Benefits: £52,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will have access to a range of benefits, including 5% employer pension contribution, 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, Cycle to Work Scheme, and more.
