Job Title: Animal Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum

About the Role
  • Maintain clean cages, drinking water bottles and materials for staff and researchers.
  • Operate simple machinery to prepare, clean, sterilise and maintain animal caging and equipment.
  • Clean cages and equipment, ensure adequate stocks of clean caging and consumable items, and support technicians in general cleaning and PPE replenishment.

This role involves regular movements, lifting and manual dexterity. We are seeking a team player with good communication skills, literate, numerate and basic IT literacy. Previous experience with industrial cagewash/autoclave equipment or in a biomedical animal facility is desirable.
