Your purpose in the role

The Head of Demand Generation is responsible for managing a talented team of Marketing professionals based around the globe. In this pivotal role, you are responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive demand generation strategy that drives qualified leads, fuels revenue growth, and enhances our brand presence in the global market.


Working closely with the Strategic Marketing team as well as the Sales and Product teams, you will play a crucial role in aligning marketing efforts with business objectives. You will optimise the entire demand generation funnel from awareness to conversion ensuring our messaging resonates with target audiences.


Your success will be measured by the effectiveness of demand generation campaigns, lead quality and volume, pipeline contribution, and overall revenue impact. Additionally, you will be instrumental in fostering collaboration across the marketing, sales, and product teams to create a seamless and impactful customer journey.


What you’ll do to succeed:

  • Develop and Implement Demand Generation Strategy : Manage the development of a global demand generation strategy focused on lead acquisition, nurturing, and conversion to support growth. Collaborate with Strategic Marketing, Creative, and Sales teams to create integrated campaigns that boost brand awareness and generate quality leads.
  • Spearhead and Optimise Multi-Channel Campaigns: Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, webinars, paid media, social media, SEO, and ABM initiatives, ensuring data-driven strategies and continuous performance optimisation.
  • Build and Manage a High-Performing, International Team: Lead and mentor a team of marketing planners and campaign managers, promoting innovation and continuous improvement; Provide clear direction, set measurable goals, and ensure alignment with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Pipeline Management and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate demand generation performance by tracking key metrics such as lead volume, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and ROI; Regularly report to senior leadership with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Enhance Marketing Technology and Processes: Drive the selection, implementation, and optimisation of marketing technologies for demand generation; Establish scalable processes and best practices to ensure efficient campaign execution.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Collaborate within our regional and functional management structure to align outcomes with company and regional strategies; Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams on messaging, target audiences, and campaign goals; Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimise the customer journey and maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Partner Marketing: Successfully design campaigns for both our Direct and Indirect channels recognising the unique requirements of our Partner (distributer) channel.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the demand generation budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximise impact and ROI.

Additionally, you remain open to new ideas and perspectives, willing to constructively challenge viewpoints to drive improvement and innovation.


What you’re great at

You are a proven leader and manager, successfully overseeing a global demand generation team and demonstrating significant success in driving revenue growth through B2B and B2B2B initiatives. With a global perspective, you adeptly navigate the nuances of marketing across various regions and cultures, effectively operating within a matrix structure.


Your technical acumen includes hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM systems, SEO, and analytics platforms, allowing you to implement multi-channel marketing strategies. You possess a strong understanding of various digital marketing channels, including email, paid media, SEO, social media, and ABM.


Data prowess is one of your strengths, enabling you to leverage data and analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, optimise performance, and inform strategic choices. As a creative problem solver, you think strategically to overcome challenges and seize new opportunities, while your strong communication skills allow you to present complex ideas and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
