BD & Marketing Manager


Internationally recognized law firm seeking BD & Marketing Manager to join the team.


**Professional Services Experience Required**


In this role, you'll collaborate closely with assigned practices, designated partners, cross-firm teams, and the broader BD & Marketing team to implement strategies, uncover opportunities, and enhance overall business development efforts. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality, proactive support in areas such as Recognition, Reputation, Relationships, and Revenue.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop detailed plans with budgets for service offerings within your practice.
  • Monitor and regularly report on budget usage and expenditures.
  • Analyze activity and return on investment for various initiatives and market trends.
  • Identify opportunities and gather insights from practices, competitors, and the broader market.
  • Attend regular meetings with fee earners and partners.
  • Plan and coordinate award submissions, including drafting required materials.
  • Organize directory entries, manage referees, and lead submission drafting.
  • Maintain and update website content, conduct regular reviews, and analyze traffic data.
  • Manage the calendar for article and blog uploads, ensuring effective distribution.
  • Create and manage a social media calendar for timely postings.
  • Produce digital media content, overseeing production and assisting with scripting.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to plan and evaluate PR/media activities.
  • Organize participation in memberships and maximize the use of available channels.
  • Keep target lists for each service offering updated.
  • Create and distribute client mailings as needed.
  • Plan and schedule events, including invitations, logistics, and follow-up activities.
  • Identify and coordinate involvement in external associations, networks, events, and co-marketing opportunities.
  • Organize pitches and presentations, maintaining a library of template materials for customization.
  • Manage and update brochures and service sheets as necessary.
  • Track key accounts and outreach efforts.
  • Promote client feedback programs and report on insights gained.
  • Review the quality of outputs from the team for assigned practices.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Business Development to mentor junior team members and provide ongoing training and support as required.
