Our client, a well-established organisation, is looking for a Claims Assistant to join their dynamic team in Huthwaite. As a Claims Assistant, you will provide crucial administrative support to ensure all claims are managed efficiently and effectively.

Summary:

Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Huthwaite
Pay Rate: £19.81 per hour
Hours: 37 per week Monday to Friday (all onsite)Responsibilities:

Receive, assess, and resolve all claims on behalf of our client
Negotiate the best deal for claim settlement
Provide specialist advice on the best course of action, considering company policies and regulations
Collaborate with external claimants to facilitate early settlement and minimise costs
Train, coach, and advise managers and less experienced staff on claims procedures
Instruct loss adjusters, agents, or solicitors, ensuring actions align with the organisation's best interests
Maintain accurate records of all claims according to established procedures
Manage a case load of claims, prioritising work and adhering to regulatory standards
Handle customer issues professionally to achieve satisfactory outcomesCandidate Requirements:

Excellent customer service skills with strong communication abilities
Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication
Strong administrative background with exceptional negotiation and numeracy skills
