Therapeutic Support Assistant - Oxford

Are you an aspiring psychologist and would love to support students with their metal health needs?

This amazing specialist school in Oxford are looking for a Therapeutic Support Assistant to join their team starting ASAP.

They are looking for someone who will facilitate and provide individualised support and interventions to their students.

The School:

Look after students who ages between 4 and 16
All students have been diagnosed with Autism and struggle with other co-existing needs
Need support with building on communication skills, social skills and interpersonal skills
Struggle with mental health needs that branch off into social and emotional needs as well
This school also make use of a specific therapy during the school day - to which you will be given full training. Responsibilities in your role as a Therapeutic Support Assistant:

Provide 1 to 1 and group support to children with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Develop and implement individual support plans in collaboration with educational staff
Provide individualised support to students, addressing their emotional, social, and educational needs.
Facilitate group activities and promote positive peer interactions
Provide guidance in emotional regulation and coping strategies
