Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Document Controller to join their team in Cambridge. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient management and control of all project documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in document control, with specific expertise in using Viewpoint/4Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and maintain accurate records of project documents and drawings using Viewpoint/4Projects.

* Ensure all project documentation is distributed, logged, and tracked efficiently to meet deadlines.

* Set up and manage document control systems to ensure compliance with company and project-specific standards.

* Provide training and support to project teams on the use of Viewpoint/4Projects.

* Monitor and enforce compliance with document control procedures across teams.

* Liaise with project managers, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth document flow.

* Produce regular document control status reports for management.

Key Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Document Controller in construction, engineering, or a related field.

* Proficiency with Viewpoint/4Projects and a strong understanding of its functionalities.

* Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

* Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

* Familiarity with industry standards for document management and control.
