Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 per annum

Type: Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid

Oversee the end-to-end process of managing key tenders, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly. Defining needs, designing evaluation methods, assessing bids, awarding contracts, and supervising procurement teams
Ensure spending on goods and services with government requirements
Play a role in delivering strategic initiatives by contributing to and leading project boards and teams as required
Offer guidance to project managers on procurement and contract matters, assisting with planning, negotiations, evaluations, and successful project execution
Update and enforce the organisation's commercial policies, terms and operational guidelines
Ensure health, safety, and security are maintained in procurement activities while identifying and managing risks within the organisation's frameworkRequirements:

Knowledge and experience of public sector regulations and PCR15
Previous experience in a similar role
