The successful candidate will work closely with the warehouse and sales teams to track and adjust stock levels based on usage patterns, seasonal demand, and forecasted requirements. They will also place orders with suppliers based on stock levels, demand forecasts, and production schedules.

They will monitor and report on purchasing budgets and ensure procurement activities are cost-effective. Continuously seeking ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and terms.
  2. Monitor stock levels and forecast inventory needs.
  3. Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to track and adjust stock levels.

  5. Monitor and report on purchasing budgets and ensure procurement activities are cost-effective.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (2+ years preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with purchasing or inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of forecasting techniques and inventory management best practices.
