Inventory Management Specialist

A career opportunity has arisen for an Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Line Up Aviation, a leading provider of recruitment services in the aviation and aerospace industry. Based in Oxfordshire, this role will involve working with a permanent team responsible for assembly and testing of hardware and supporting process documentation to meet quality standards.
In this position, you will be taking overall responsibility of the Bonded stores, incoming inspection and the Bonding in/out of parts. You will act as an interface between procurement and other relevant departments on purchases and new projects and activities, monitoring / expediting and advising on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organisation. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping project procurement sheets / MRP system up to date, performing incoming inspections of parts upon delivery, and ensuring stock accuracy is achieved by conducting monthly cycle counts on high value items / annual stock take.
The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of machined components, comprehensive knowledge and understanding of detailed drawings, surface finishes, tolerances, materials etc., and practical experience with metrology equipment. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, positive attitude to problems, able to provide sound solutions, excellent attention to detail, deadline orientated, good prioritisation and organisational skills are also required. The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
