We are looking for a passionate Residential Childcare Support Assistant to support students in both formal and informal learning environments to meet the students physical, learning and social needs.

As a support worker you will work as part of a team of support workers to deliver a high standard of care at all times. You recognise that the role is to help support service users maximise their choices, rights and decisions.

We are looking to cover the 12:30 – 21:30 shift Monday – Thursday and Friday 08:30am – 14:00pm

We are interested in the following skills

Physically fit to move and handle disabled young people
Worked within a school with SEN students
Experience in care
Makaton trained
Experience with Autism
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
GCSE in English and Maths A to C
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

You must drive and have a UK Driving Licence

Please note that an Enhanced Child & Adult DBS is required, and we book shifts weekly and work on a 12 week temp to perm basis.

Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of TAX and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
