The newly created position of Learning and Development Manager provides a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of our business as we continue our exciting growth plan.

This key role will help to ensure our people are fully supported within current and future internal roles through identified learning and development analysis and through the creation of training materials and implementation of staff training programmes.

A learning and development background in any hire sector would be advantageous, however experience and background in a frontline L&D role within a multi-site sales and operational business is essential.

Head Office is based in Hampshire but this role would require travel to multiple sites.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

· Working with internal stake holders, review and assess our organisations current training and employee development needs

· Create training materials and programmes to support specific business objectives

· Facilitate and carry out employee development activity within both group and/or at a one-to-one level

· Create and update internal reporting, keep and manage the overall learning and development records

· Work with the employees and Senior Management to ensure the achievement of training objectives

· Identify and implement a range of training techniques to improve efficient and ROI.

· Manage employee enrolment for training, schedule training sessions and organise resources to facilitate the training programmes.

· Work with Sales and Operations leadership teams to identify areas of service delivery development and design internal process to support the development of defined service delivery expectations.

· Evaluate existing training materials and highlight any sales/service/product knowledge gaps across the frontline service teams.

· Sign off new employees onboarding programme and ensure H&S compliance is also complete.

A successful candidate will:

· Have a demonstrable experience within a Learning and development role within a multi-site, frontline sales and operations business

· Be able to effectively organise and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously

· Have strong planning and organisational skills

· Have a creative approach to training and a desire to make learning interactive
