Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship - Cherubs Kindergarten

The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Cherubs Kindergarten.

Cherubs is a family owned setting run by a leadership team consisting of a setting Director, nursery Manager and three Unit leaders. Our Unit leaders each have responsibility for separate teams in our dedicated upstairs (under 2 yrs) Baby Unit and downstairs (3-4 yrs) Toddler and (4-5 yrs) Pre-school ‘bubbles’, thus ensuring strong and consistent leadership throughout the nursery in all circumstances.

Cherubs is strategically located in an area bounded by Farnborough, Southwood and Cove, close to M3 junction 4a. We are within minutes of Farnborough and Southwood Business Parks and close to Farnborough main line railway station.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;
Assist in creating a safe nurturing environment for children.

Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring activities are developmentally appropriate and inclusive.

Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians and sharing information about children’s development and well-being.

Observe and assess children’s development, documenting observations and contributing to individual learning plans.

Support children’s personal care needs, including feeding, changing and promoting independence.

Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming nursery.

Collaborate with nursery team to plan and deliver engaging learning activities both indoors and outdoors.

Attending staff meetings

Hours;
Cherubs Kindergarten is open from 08.00-18:00 Monday to Friday

Requirements;
You must be able to gain a clear DBS

Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
