What You Will Do:

Liaise with the Purchasing team, Management, and Engineering on Purchasing issues, contributing to the strategic vision and targets.
Analyse quotations, conduct comparison reporting, and manage general Purchase administration including documentation processing.
Generate RFQ's, select vendors, and facilitate contract negotiations, ensuring business requirements are met comprehensively.
Lead cost reduction activities, track savings projects, and report on forecasts and actuals effectively.
Perform basic financial computations and assist in completing all Purchasing tasks to meet project deadlines.
Promote the company's HSE policies across the department, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
What You Will Bring:

Essential knowledge of SAP and a good basic standard of education in literacy and numeracy.
CIPS qualification or the willingness to study towards completing it.
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft packages, with proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing.
A keen understanding of cost breakdown analysis and the ability to compare quotes effectively.
Relevant commercial experience within a fast-paced working environment, showcasing strong analytical and attention to detail skills.

Location:

This position is based in the UK, offering a fantastic work-life balance with operational hours from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 - 5:00, and an early finish on Fridays at 2pm.
