Salary:£29,601 per annum, plus benefits. Additional £50 per sleep-in shift.
Hours:37.5 hours per week, shifts vary between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday (on a shift rota basis).
Contract:Full-time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement:A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.
Right to Work:Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any skilled worker visas.

We are looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team who is a problem solver, able to think fast and be proactive in your approach. You will lead, mentor, and work with the ream of support workers, and senior support workers, to ensure efficient service delivery and effective teamwork. You will be able to provide support to the people you will be supporting, be adaptable, creative, and work alongside them, providing options and choice every day.
You will be a vital part of the team, and deputise for the manager in their absence, making sure that the home runs smoothly and quality assurance is up to date and completed. You will promote and deliver person-centred support each day. You will lead by example in a learning environment, ensuring that on-going training is completed by all staff to the company standards. You will be empathic and able to listen, and problem solve on a day-to-day basis.

As a Deputy Service Manager, you'll be more than just their support – you'll be a key part of someone's journey towards living their best life. Here's what you'll be doing:
Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
Building Relationships: Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.
Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holiday’s, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to enjoy what they love.
Respect & Dignity: Ensuring that the individuals and their families are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality. Who you will be supporting?
Aldershot Support Service is a purpose-built accessible accommodation, for six adults with learning disabilities and a range of other needs, including sight loss, autism and epilepsy.
The people we support in Aldershot are a very active group who spend a lot of time getting out and about and engaging with the local community. They love doing activities like art classes, cooking and playing music.
