A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our clients who are a multi-award winning building services contractor that specialises in the design, supply and installation of a wide range of Prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Europe. They also offer turnkey design, build & operate solutions for commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating solutions and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout UK & Europe.

Due to continued expansion, they are now looking for a MEP BIM Technician to join a growing team designing and detailing offsite modular building services solutions to be off-site manufactured within our fabrication facilities and to be constructed onsite by their site teams based at the head office in Banbridge. You will be developing drawings from Revit models ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing MEP architectural and structural elements.

Responsibility & Duties

* BIM modelling of prefabricated MEP solutions using Revit software to support the project design, offsite manufacturing and onsite installation processes

* Produce Navisworks models for internal and external model reviews, clash detection

* Produce MEP, fabrication and construction assembly drawings

* Produce quantity take-off schedules from the BIM model for the manufacturing and assembly process

* Produce site setting out drawing packages in collaboration with the offsite and onsite construction teams

* Develop families, asset information, and other elements to utilise the features available with the Revit software to enhance day-to-day operation efficiencies

Experience & Qualification

* Minimum 1 – 2 years experience in a similar role

* Good understanding and knowledge of Autodesk Revit software

* Knowledge of the building services, architecture or structural design

* UK Driving Licence essential

* Knowledge of steel & pipework & piping systems ideal
