BIM Project Lead Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Project Lead to join our team at Alternative Heat. As a BIM Project Lead, you will play a critical role in managing the MEP design coordination on multiple large scale projects throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the project BIM team to deliver the highest quality drawings from BIM models
  • Ensure seamless coordination between various design disciplines, including architecture, structure, MEP, and interiors
  • Utilise BIM software tools to identify clashes between different models and implement rigorous quality assurance protocols
  • Manage and schedule project deliverables for all BIM team members appointed to each project
  • Establish clear communication channels and provide regular project reporting with the BIM Manager and Associate Director
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a BIM coordination role delivering large commercial MEP projects
  • Expertise in working with Autodesk Revit software and ability to create, edit, and review complex BIM models
  • Strong project management skills to oversee the project's timeline, resources, and deliverables
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring effective collaboration and high quality outputs
