Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of students with SEND?

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Buddy to join our dynamic team in Birmingham.

Join our committed team in an environment where your impact on children's educational journeys is both valued and vital.

Responsibilities:

* Work closely with students who require additional behavioural support, providing a safe and supportive learning environment.

* Apply behaviour management plans and strategies in line with school policies.

* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to personalise support to individual student needs.

* Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback and suggestions for further interventions if necessary.

* Participate in training sessions and professional development related to SEND and behaviour management.

Requirements:

* Enhanced DBS check (mandatory).

* Previous experience working with children or adults with additional needs.

* A relevant teaching qualification demonstrating your knowledge of effective teaching practices.

* Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively and sensitively.

Additional Details:

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Salary: Final salary based on experience.

Location: Walsall, West Midlands.
