Main Duties
* Liaise with customers to ensure requests regarding material compliance declarations are fully understood
* Survey suppliers to ensure their products, materials and substance lists are complete and up to date, and conform to regulatory requirements
* Coordinate with Quality, Purchasing, Design & Document Control departments within the company to ensure BARS conformity is met and maintained for both legacy and new products
* Generate Material Declaration documents in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements
* Maintain the databases provided for storing and reporting BARS data
* Highlight areas in need of improvement in BARS processes and system functionality and if opportunity arises, implement changes with the assistance of the BARS mentor.
