Job Details

We are seeking a part-time Materials Compliance Coordinator to work on a permanent contract. The role involves working 20 hours per week, with an estimated salary of £12.89 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have experience in material compliance, regulations, and quality assurance. They will be responsible for coordinating with Quality, Purchasing, Design & Document Control departments to ensure BARS conformity is met and maintained for both legacy and new products.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and has excellent organizational skills. Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with customers to ensure requests regarding material compliance declarations are fully understood
  • Surveying suppliers to ensure their products, materials and substance lists are complete and up to date, and conform to regulatory requirements
  • Generating Material Declaration documents in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining the databases provided for storing and reporting BARS data
  • Highlighting areas in need of improvement in BARS processes and system functionality and if opportunity arises, implementing changes with the assistance of the BARS mentor
