Job Details

This is a part-time role based on the outskirts of Andover, working 20 hours per week with a permanent contract. The estimated salary for this position is £12.89 per hour.

Main Responsibilities
  • Liaise with customers to ensure requests regarding material compliance declarations are fully understood.
  • Survey suppliers to ensure their products, materials and substance lists are complete and up to date, and conform to regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Purchasing, Design & Document Control departments within the company to ensure BARS conformity is met and maintained for both legacy and new products.
  • Generate Material Declaration documents in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the databases provided for storing and reporting BARS data.
  • Highlight areas in need of improvement in BARS processes and system functionality and if opportunity arises, implement changes with the assistance of the BARS mentor.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in procurement or a related field.
