Accounts Assistant

We are delighted to working with a growing business based north of Cambridge as they seek to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role has become available due to a departure and will play a pivotal role within the finance team. Due to the nature of the business, this role is a fully office based position.

As the incoming Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Processing of supplier invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit card statement reconciliations
- Dealing with any accounts queries
- Additional duties as required

As the successful candidate for this position, you will have previous experience working in an accounts role, with good knowledge of accounting processes and procedures. Knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero and Sage would be considered advantageous. Additional attributes you will possess include:
- Strong attention to detail 
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organisation skills
- Team player and happy to go above and beyond.
