·Chair multi-disciplinary case meetings, liaise with housing providers, and collaborate with services to address issues related to child protection, domestic abuse, and safeguarding.
·Participate in a duty rota, handle contentious housing inquiries, and deliver support through multiple channels - online, face-to-face, and in community settings.
·Stay up-to-date with legislation and best practices, ensuring compliance with Council policies and safeguarding standards.
The Ideal Candidate
·You have substantial experience working with vulnerable individuals and households, including victims of domestic abuse, those with mental health challenges, or other social issues. You are comfortable managing caseloads and have a proven track record of providing professional housing advice.
·With strong interpersonal skills, you are adept at negotiating, solving problems, and working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. You're known for your empathy, tact, and ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
·Up-to-date with relevant housing legislation and best practices, you apply this knowledge to deliver high-quality services that align with Council policies.
·Ideally, you hold a Level 4 Diploma or equivalent experience in housing or a related sector.
