Qualified Accountant

Are you a qualified accountant looking for the chance to work within a dynamic practice? Would you enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model while managing your own portfolio of clients? We are seeking a talented Qualified Accountant for our client, a well-established practice that provides exceptional financial services. In this role, reporting to the Practice Manager, you will maintain financial records for a diverse range of clients and oversee the day-to-day workload of the practice team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct virtual and face-to-face client meetings to provide expert financial guidance.
* Offer complex tax advice and ensure clients are informed of their options.
* Prepare and complete annual accounts accurately and in compliance.
* Review and sign off on work completed by the accounting team.
* Manage HMRC audits and investigations, including preparation and responses.
* Oversee the completion of self-assessment tax returns and resolve client complaints.
* Monitor and analyse data related to key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Collaborate with team members to achieve company goals and support professional development.
Your profile:
* ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
* Proven experience in a similar role within an accounting practice.
* Strong knowledge of HMRC regulations and procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
