Accounting Senior Job:

Armstrong Watson is seeking an experienced Accounting Senior to join our team in Kendal. This role will involve working closely with clients, managing accounting assignments, and supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing and monitoring progress on active accounting assignments
  • Conducting regular assessments of team members' competence and motivation
  • Forming professional relationships with clients and creating an environment for referrals

In order to succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A qualified accountancy qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, or ICAS)
  • Extensive knowledge of preparing non-statutory accounts and financial statements
  • A sound understanding of UK taxes, including Personal Tax, Corporation Tax, and VAT
  • A Full UK Driving Licence
