We are a growing and thriving organisation, a Community Interest Company (CIC) and wholly-owned subsidiary of The Oaklea Trust, a registered charity.



Our work includes assisting learners move closer to work and sustaining work. We also aim to develop stronger communities by providing projects that promote well-being and environmental sustainability.



The Role: Board Member



We are looking to recruit a new enthusiastic person with experience in one or more of the following areas:




  • Marketing and sales
  • HR & Culture and People Development
  • Financial planning and strategic management
  • Social Enterprise
  • Event Planning & Management


These skills are sought to ensure we have a balanced group of individuals on our Board.



If you can think at a strategic level, quickly absorb complex information, instinctively know the right questions to ask and be decisive then this is an excellent opportunity to join our Board.



As a Board member, you will meet four times a year, and members of Board sub committees will meet regularly. Training and development is available to trustees.



The post of trustee is unpaid but will provide a great deal of experience and satisfaction.



Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience
