About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Community Coordinator to join our team at Eddington Lodge in Kendal, Cumbria.

As a key member of our community team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents, managing the day-to-day activities of the lodge, and ensuring that our residents' needs are met.

You will work closely with our Area Manager to develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of life for our residents, and provide support to our on-site staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in residential care and has experience of working with older adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide exceptional customer service to our residents and their families
  • To manage the day-to-day activities of the lodge, including organizing events and activities
  • To ensure that our residents' needs are met, including administering medication and providing emotional support
  • To work closely with our Area Manager to develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of life for our residents
  • To provide support to our on-site staff, including training and guidance

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in residential care, preferably with older adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office
