Payments QA Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an QA Engineer on a permanent basis. As a key part of one of our squads, you will be heavily involved in testing and supporting our payment and billing systems and solutions.
You will analyse business requirements, develop testing plans, and assist throughout the end to end project lifecycle. We strive to produce high quality software services which support in building better payments experiences for our customers.
What you will do:
* Work within an Agile squad that tests, builds and delivers industry leading payments and billing solutions that focuses on the needs of our customers
* Build high quality test automation where possible and ensure the acceptance criteria for a product continues to be met over many future iterations
* Design and execute test plans for new and existing payment systems.
* Collaborate with Product Owners and other key members of the squad to build project backlog items with clear acceptance criteria
* Analyse changes being made and build test cases that provide appropriate test coverage
* Work to improve the capability and processes of the Quality Engineering team by suggesting and supporting improvements, sharing knowledge and driving gold standard software testing practices
We’d love you to have:
* Testing experience in a fast paced Agile environment
* Experience in testing billing and payments solutions with a customer first focus
* Experience of executing and checking testing and defect management
* Experience testing distributed, scalable, and highly available systems
* Testing software in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar
* BDD experience and ability to write and break down user stories
* An understanding of the wider Quality role required in order to improve quality across the full project delivery lifecycle and drive continuous improvement
* JIRA/ Confluence
* Any Test automation experience with Java and Selenium is advantageous
