Job Title: Manufacturing Manager
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: up to £40,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm

Our client is a highly accredited, manufacturing company with a commitment to innovation, precision, and excellence.
Role Summary:
You will be required to lead our clients production operations based from their state-of-the art facility in Ashford. You will be tasked with driving efficiency, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Progression opportunitiesKey responsibilities within your new role would be to:
Manage and motivate the Production Team.
To ensure the smooth running of production.
Adherence to GMP requirements.
Ensure that all products are produces to specification and OTIF.
Ensure that all staff comply with Health and Safety procedures.
Development of the production team to optimise team performance.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of raw materials and packaging supplies.
Track and report key performance metrics, analysing to identify trends and inform decision-making.
Ensure full communication flows across the organisation.
The organisation of the production team to ensure targets are achieved.
Ensure GMP and Quality standards are understood and always maintained.
Work alongside the Technical team to be audit ready at all times.
Work with the Operations Manager to ensure continuous improvement.
Take ownership for the operations and processes.
Support the project team to develop site investment opportunities. Experience and skills required for this position:
A background in food, cosmetic or pharmaceutical industries.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC and GMP requirements.
Understanding of relevant production processes and engineering principals.
Previous management experience.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Next steps:
