ROLE SUMMARY

A manufacturer is responsible for mixing pre-weighed raw materials, using large vessels and equipment, to create a bulk ready for filling and packaging. This role is supported by material handlers and highly relies on technical skills. High attention to detail is required, in addition to an ability to understand and follow all methods and work instructions.

YOU WILL

Perform cleaning activities as per daily/weekly schedule, in accordance with training and current processes.
Contribute to and participate in Rapid Improvement Events and Projects, as required.
Follow basic Trouble Shooting Processes in order to address issues. Ensure that output targets are achieved at the lowest possible cost whilst complying to required quality standards and maintaining customer demands.
Provide R&D and Industrial Chemistry full technical support for pilot and Demi-grand activities. Contribute to the weekly safety hour and monthly H&S meeting via the Safety Rep.
Conduct Quality tests and input data according to batch requirements.
Support the completion of RCI reports, where appropriate.
Proficiently use current electronic shop floor control systems.
Complete all relevant batch documentation.
Understands and participates, if required, in daily Department Reviews. Drive waste reduction.

Health and Safety Follow all Company Safety Procedures and adhere to all processes, procedures and guidelines in place.

THE COTY IDEAL FIT

Factory experience desirable, but not essential.
Good level of written and spoken English.
Available for alternative shift pattern/fixed night shift.
Capable of performing manual tasks, using manual handling equipment.
Open to a diverse workplace and loves to work in a team.
