Role: Health and Social Care Trainer Assessor

Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel across Cheshire, Liverpool and surrounding areas

Salary: £26,500 - £30,000 (Depending on qualifications)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

Hold either a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) OR a Level 3 Teaching Qualification such as PTLLS / AET.
Must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care as a minimum.
Ideally have experience of assessing Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care / Adult Care.
Hold solid occupational experience within Health and Social Care at Deputy Manager level or above.   
Must have a good level of ICT skills.
Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel and also remote home working.Duties include:

Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 5 (Lead Adult Care Worker). 
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, learner recruitment, quality paperwork and general administration.Personal Skills:

Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
