*    Fixed-term contract of 12 months
*    £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

The Role

As our new Video Researcher and Writer, you will be at the heart of planning and producing compelling stories for our genealogical cases.

Key Responsibilities:

*    Plan and research cases, focusing on the story behind each estate
*    Create and develop scripts and storyboards in collaboration with videographers
*    Liaise with beneficiaries for permission to include information in video productions
*    Research background details on each case and write scripts
*    Ensure scripts meet copyright requirements and legal standards
*    Collaborate with staff to finalise storylines and case presentations

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone creative, organised, and driven to tell impactful stories. You will have:

*    Experience in media research, scriptwriting, or film production
*    Education in Media, Film production, or a related subject
*    Strong research skills with an eye for detail
*    Knowledge of copyright and legal considerations in media
*    Excellent written communication skills
