This company is a reputable business with over 20 years of experience in the fire protection industry. Our client is currently seeking a Quotation & Technical Support (Fire Alarms) to join their highly valued and collaborative team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an office-based role and you will be working with multiple clients across different sectors. These include commercial, residential, educational, industrial and healthcare.

You will be part of a team who all understand the importance of working together to ensure a high standard of work is delivered. You will be given support, training and the correct tools to carry out your role efficiently and effectively.

Quotation & Technical Support (Fire Alarms) Role and Responsibilities:

* Assist in preparing and processing client quotations for installations, maintenance, and repairs.

* Gather and review required technical specifications from engineers and team members to produce accurate quotes.

* Communicate with suppliers for pricing and ensure quotations reflect the latest costings.

* Follow up on issued quotations and provide updates to clients.

* Maintain accurate records of quotations, contracts, and project documentation in company systems

* Act as a first point of contact for clients, providing information and answering basic queries related to fire alarm systems, quotations, and service processes.

* Offer basic technical support to clients over the phone or via email, troubleshooting minor issues or directing them to appropriate engineers for advanced assistance.

* Assist engineers with the preparation of technical documentation and compliance paperwork.

* Support the team by gathering technical details from site reports to assist in project planning and quotations.

* Work closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure quotations and projects are aligned with client requirements and budgets.

* Ensure that all quotations and projects comply with relevant fire safety regulations and company standards.

Quotation & Technical Support (Fire Alarms) Skills and Experience:

* Ability to produce accurate quotations based on technical input and cost estimates.

* Technical knowledge and experience of fire alarm systems required.

* Experience in handling client queries and providing high-quality customer service.

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail when preparing quotes, managing documentation, and coordinating tasks.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM or project management software.
