Subcontract/Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are currently hiring for a subcontract/Purchase ledger Assistant to work within our finance team at our Head Office in Canning Town East London.

Responsibilities

* Match, code and record invoices, purchase orders and delivery notes.

* Complete VAT Payments.

* Verify subcontractors with HMRC.

* Make payments via BACS and Cheques.

* Account correctly for CIS and VAT reverse charge.

* Process subcontract payment certificates.

* Assist supervisor with payment runs.

* Verify subcontractors with HMRC.

* Maintain accurate information for stakeholders.

* Respond to all relevant queries in a timely and articulate manner.

* Comply with all financial and relevant data protection regulations.

* Scan paperwork and file correctly.

Requirements

* AAT or previous relevant experience (construction experience is desireable)
