Job Summary

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. This is a hands-on role, perfect for a proactive engineer who can diagnose and solve both electrical and mechanical issues, conduct preventative maintenance, and drive improvements across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform routine, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a range of manufacturing equipment.

* Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, troubleshoot, and implement repairs to minimize downtime.

* Operate within safety standards and procedures, ensuring all work is compliant with company and legal regulations.

* Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to achieve maintenance and operational objectives.

* Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.

* Participate in installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and machinery.

Qualifications and Experience

* Technical Qualification: Preferred HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Minimum NVQ Level 3)

* Experience: Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role within FMCG or similar

* Skills: Strong electrical and mechanical skills, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and fault-finding techniques.
