Job Title: Contract Specialist

Location: Oxford

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 p.a.

Type: Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid (3 days/week in the office)

We are seeking a Contract Specialist to manage contracts for goods, services, and financial agreements that support R&D, production, supply chain, and field maintenance. This role focuses on drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts to optimise value while ensuring compliance and effective stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee contracts from initiation to closure, including drafting, amending, and managing performance and expiration
Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing to maximise contract value
Ensure contracts meet company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards. Proactively assess and resolve risks
Collaborate with internal teams to meet requirements and manage expectations
Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships
Enhance contract processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness

Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of contract management processes with experience in a similar role
Proficiency in drafting agreements and negotiating terms
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled at producing technical reports
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing environments
Confident communicator and negotiator at all levels

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Contract Specialist or similar role
Knowledge of legal and regulatory contract requirements
