Job Description for Procurement Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Bracknell. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all procurement activities are carried out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Your primary responsibilities will include defining and implementing effective procurement strategies, overseeing the procurement process from start to finish, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution. In addition, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to negotiate best prices and terms, as well as identifying and mitigating risks associated with procurement activities. **Key Responsibilities:**
• Define and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business objectives
• Oversee the procurement process from start to finish, including tender evaluation and contract management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate best prices and terms
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities

**Requirements:**
• MCIPS qualification or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in public sector procurement regulations and PCR15 compliance
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
