Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Development Executive to join a thriving team in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the metals industry, specifically with stainless steel, aluminium, or yellow metals. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills who can identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve company targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the metals industry.
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with existing and potential clients.
Provide technical product information and support to customers.
Process orders and handle customer inquiries promptly.
Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to maximize opportunities.

Requirements:
Proven experience in business development or sales within the metals industry, specifically with stainless steel, aluminium, or yellow metals.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
