Collaborate with the SENCO and professionals to implement behaviour intervention plans (BIPs), helping to manage and reduce challenging behaviours.

Support communication by utilising tools like PECS, Makaton, or AAC devices, enabling the child to express needs and preferences.
Facilitate social interactions, modelling and prompting appropriate social behaviours with peers and adults.
Provide emotional support to help the child manage stress and anxiety.
Encourage social skill development, such as turn-taking, greetings, and respecting personal space.
