Accounts Assistant
Location: London
Salary: GBP32,000 - GBP38,000 pro rata
Hours: Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm (Flexible Hybrid possible)
Bridge Recruitment are currently working with our well-established Consultancy client to assist in the recruitment of an Accounts Administrator to join their ever-expanding team. You will be working closely with the Financial Controller and providing Accounts support to him and the company team.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Administrator:
· Raising customer invoices
· Processing supplier and subcontractor invoices (accounts payable)
· Supporting Financial Controller with general reporting & production of management accounts
· Posting journals into SAGE
· Credit Control
· Chasing of timesheets and logging of time by person, by project
· VAT returns
Requirements of the Accounts Administrator:
· Financial administration, accounting and/or bookkeeping experience including accounts receivable, accounts payable, WIP, general ledger and financial reporting
· Experience of using SAGE is preferred
· Must be a completer finisher and have good attention to detail
· Ability to work without supervision
· Ability to handle confidential information
· Strong prioritisation and organisational skills
