As an Imports Clerk you will be excited and proud to be working for a unique and well established family owned business supporting the business and its owner. You will have a love of figures and strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
Your key responsibilities will be:
The main part of the role will be clearing imports, dealing with carriers such as Fed Ex, UPS.
You will have experience of importation work, be used to working with tariff codes and commodity codes and experience of customs clearance.
The Purchasing & Imports Administrator will also be working closely with and assisting the Purchasing Co-ordinator with purchasing and any associated admin tasks such as the processing of service invoices, and the purchasing of consumables, printing and distribution of the new purchase orders, reviewing existing orders and chasing suppliers accordingly.
Required skills:
* Proficient with MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
* A least 2 years experience woking in Imports with an understanding of tafiff codes and commodity codes.
* Attention to detail and a love of working with numbers.
* Solution and process focussed with a high level of accuracy.
* Ability to execute with urgency.
* Exceptional time management skills
