Skin Rocks is built on Caroline’s lifelong study of skin care.


Working as part of the Skin Rocks (SR) and Caroline Hirons (CH) Operations and Merchandising team, this is a key role who will liaise with both internal and external customers to ensure the flow of product meets critical dates. This role is therefore pivotal in sales targets and brand objectives.


Reporting to the Operations and Projects Manager and working cross functionally within the business, as well as with our external partners including our 3PL warehouse, product suppliers and retail partners - this is a varied and exciting role


Responsibilities:


 Operations and Projects


  • Assist the Operations and Projects Manager to ensure timely completion of both SR and CH related projects.
  • Liaise across departments regarding launch timelines, schedule and attend key meetings and update the project timelines.
  • Responsible for tracking stock movements, managing office stock movements and providing accurate reports for the Finance team.
  • Assist the Operations and Projects Manager with administration of the Caroline Hirons Kits.
  • Manage end to end delivery of SR merchandise plan (e.g. GWPs, SR Sets) by liaising with suppliers, design team and all other key internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with monitoring stock levels and ordering shipping collateral for both SR and CH.
  • Process orders in a timely manner to meet internal department needs.  
  • Liaising with 3PL warehouse as required.

 

 Wholesale


  • Process and monitor POs for SR and communicate any changes to key stakeholders.
  • Be the key point of contact for retail partners regarding orders.
  • Play an active part in the wholesale process, including uniform requirements, factice and new line forms for our retail partners.
  • Play key role in the shipping process for international retailers.


Merchandising


  • Support the Head of Merchandising and Operations and Projects Manager with data collation, including weekly sales and stock reports.
  • As the job progresses, make recommendations to the Head of Merchandising for sales and stock management. 


Skillset, Experience and Qualifications 

 

Essential


  • Previous experience within Operations, Retail, Buying, Merchandising or Wholesale.
  • Ability to manage projects in a highly organised, structured fashion, showing attention to detail, good judgement and having an ‘eye’ for opportunities 
  • Ability to solve problems in an agile, autonomous manner. 
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Effective prioritisation, implementation, and monitoring skills. Able to follow process and suggest improvements. 
  • Strong team player with ability to listen, support, contribute and influence.
  • Excellent communication skills. You must be confident dealing with a wide range of people including our Founder, buying teams from our retail partners, product suppliers, other brands, warehouse teams and many more
  • Proactive self-starter, able to work under pressure, flexible and able to pivot when priorities change.
  • Deadline driven and able to prioritise tasks effectively. 
  • Intermediate plus skills in Microsoft Excel.


Preferable


  • Beauty brand experience.
  • Experience of Merchandising reporting and analysis.
  • Critical path management experience.
