MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading retailer on the search for Head of Facilities. This is a perm role based in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, tender, and manage key contractors and suppliers for facilities and property services.
- Develop service schedules for statutory and legislative requirements, ensuring legal compliance.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and continuously improve service quality.
- Implement business-wide changes to maintain legal and statutory compliance.
- Foster a collaborative approach across the business for all Facilities-related matters.
- Audit and report on completed works, ensuring quality, time, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead the development of a property-based FM system, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Oversee works projects from inception to completion.
What are we looking for?
- Extensive experience in a Senior Facilities Management role.
- Preferably experience in a multi-site environment (retail, hospitality, leisure).
- Direction of maintenance teams and external suppliers.
- Detailed technical specification writing and contract administration.
- Proven project management in live operating environments.
- Comprehensive Health & Safety and energy management expertise.
- Strategic thinking with exceptional budget management skills.
- Membership of RICS, CIOB, or BIFM preferred.
Salary is up to £65k + benefits.
