Theatre Technical Expert

As an Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our West End theatre's technical systems. We are seeking a highly skilled and confident technician to join our Electrics Department as Deputy Head of Electrics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Heads of Department and Technical & Buildings Manager with the day-to-day running of the theatre from a technical perspective. This includes maintaining and repairing building systems, including power, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and fire prevention systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic electrics and be willing to learn additional facilities skills required.
You will also work on get-ins and get-outs, facilitating productions and events alongside production show staff. A strong communicator with excellent prioritization and time management skills is essential for this role. Experience in a backstage role and knowledge of current health and safety legislation and safe working practices are also key requirements.
A salary of £17.94 per hour reflects the importance of this position within our organization. We offer a competitive compensation package that aligns with industry standards.
