**About the Role**

We are currently recruiting a qualified teacher to join our team at a specialist nurture school in Wakefield. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching children aged 11-19 with complex special educational needs, autism spectrum disorder, and learning disabilities.

The school offers a range of therapeutic services aligned with the PBS framework and has a maximum capacity of 27 young people, split into small class sizes of around 6 pupils per class.

This is a full-time position, starting January, with the opportunity to continue long-term. We offer competitive rates of pay from £185-£230 per day, as well as on-the-job training and 24/7 support from experienced education consultants.

**Key Requirements**

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Understand and demonstrate knowledge of ASDAN, NCFE entry level, and foundation learning across various learning levels
  • Keen interest in teaching vulnerable children with SEND and neurodiversity
  • Flexibility to attend meetings and CPD after school times
