About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistant to join our team in Manchester. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring they have equal access to education and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include working closely with classroom teachers, providing one-on-one assistance, small group support, and implementing personalized learning plans to meet the diverse needs of our students. You will also collaborate with teachers to develop effective strategies for supporting students, provide individualized support, assist with lesson planning, and contribute to behavior management strategies.

  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with SEND.
  • Provide individualized support to students, addressing their unique learning needs.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Support with the implementation of behaviour management strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications: You must have a minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities, and knowledge of various SEND conditions and effective strategies for support.

Salary: The salary for this position is £75.00 per day.
