Special Education Needs Support Role
We are recruiting for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at Sennen Education Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs and disabilities in a mixed-ability class.
You will be working closely with teachers to provide individualized support to students with complex needs, assist with lesson planning and delivery, and help students develop social skills and independence. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a minimum of 6 months experience working with children who have SEND.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored support to students with diverse needs
- Collaborating with teachers on curriculum development and implementation
- Supporting students in developing essential life skills
- Monitoring student progress and reporting back to educators
Salary: Up to £100 per day
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months experience working with children who have SEND
- Right to work in the UK
- Reliable and positive attitude
- Valid Enhanced DBS Disclosure
