Job Overview
The Manor Practice, a leading GP practice in Sutton Coldfield, is seeking an experienced Medical Support Specialist to join our busy reception team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to patients, clinical staff, and external agencies. About the Role
This is a part-time position, working 16.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will be required to work shifts consisting of 08:00-13:00 or 13:30-18:30. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Strong IT skills and experience of using EMIS would be advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Greet and direct patients, ensuring a positive experience
- Manage appointments, bookings, and cancellations efficiently
- Process information and assist patients as required
- Liaise with clinical staff and external agencies to ensure seamless communication

Person Specification
- GCSE level or equivalent education
- Experience of working with the general public
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
- High levels of integrity and loyalty

Salary
The salary for this role is £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
