Claims Resolution Specialist

Ipswich

AXA XL's Claims team is renowned for its expertise in handling complex claims. We're seeking a Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team and contribute to our culture of continuous improvement. As a Claims Resolution Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and resolving claims for our Motor Fleet customers. You will work closely with your manager and fellow Claims Adjusters to bring claims to a swift resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of claims up to a pre-determined authority level.
  • Pro-actively engage with all stakeholders to resolve claims promptly, fairly, and with due expertise.
  • Adhere to the Global Claims Handling Practices.
  • Demonstrate AXA XL behaviours and values.
  • Ensure all claims are reserved wherever possible, within the Reserving Guidelines.
  • Develop relationships with Underwriters, Actuaries, and other departments as required.
  • Provide superior customer service to policyholders and brokers.
  • Instruct and control surveyors, loss adjusters, solicitors, and experts in connection with day-to-day claims handling.

Requirements

  • Possess an excellent eye for detail, including accuracy and ability to review, analyse, and gauge an understanding of claims data.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritise workload and operate to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a passion for the customer, remaining calm in the face of challenge to effectively help our clients.
  • A creative thinker who uses their own initiative to identify development opportunities and demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Enthusiastic with the ability to adapt to change and new challenges.
  • Displays positive and inclusive behaviours to ensure everyone feels valued and respected.
