About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team at Office Angels. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transport services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Transport Operations: Assist in the day-to-day running of our transport operation, working closely with the Customer Services team to deliver efficient service and maximize service delivery.
  • Driver Management: Coordinate the allocation of drivers, vehicles, and work requirements on a daily basis, ensuring maximum efficiency and effective services.
  • Route Optimization: Optimize routes to maximize productivity, taking into account time, route density, and running costs.
  • Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service to both external and internal customers.
  • Financial Analysis: Work with the finance team to understand the results of the daily and weekly profit KPIs and monthly management accounts, developing strategies for improvement.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven experience of working to deadlines and meeting targets, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • IT Skills: Strong IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
